About

A research consultancy built on clinical-grade evidence

Evidencera brings methods from academic medicine and human factors engineering to companies that need to know whether their technology works for the people who use it.

Our mission

Help organizations adopt technology on the strength of evidence

AI products are adopted faster than they are tested. We close that gap with independent, rigorous studies that show what works, for whom, and what must change before wider use.

Leadership

Our founders

Evidencera is led by academic researchers in artificial intelligence, human factors and engineering. Together, they evaluate both the software people rely on and the devices people use and wear.

Portrait of Dr. Rayan Harari

Co-Founder

Rayan Harari, PhD, MBA

Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham

Dr. Harari is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham. He has extensive experience developing and leading efforts around medical devices, AI-based tools and clinical systems across clinical, military and space applications. This work includes designing and conducting FDA-compliant trials and studies, always with the same central goal: producing the evidence needed to test, validate and responsibly deploy new technology. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, ARPA-H and NASA-associated programs.

Trained in biomedical engineering, with a PhD in computer science and systems engineering, Dr. Harari studies how people work with artificial intelligence, and how explainability, cognitive workload, trust and workflow determine whether a system actually improves decisions. At Evidencera, he leads AI performance evaluation, human factors research and study design, bringing the methods of academic clinical research to the practical questions organizations face when they deploy new technology.

Portrait of Dr. Mo Mousavisani

Co-Founder

Mo Mousavisani, PhD

Faculty, Northeastern University
Faculty, Wentworth Institute of Technology

Dr. Mousavisani is a faculty member at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and his research focuses on wearable devices and the engineering of technologies that people carry and wear in daily life.

At Evidencera, Dr. Mousavisani leads the evaluation of wearable, connected and hardware-based products. His engineering perspective complements the firm's work in AI and human factors, so that clients can test a device as a physical product, alongside the software that runs on it and the people who use it.
